	28 August 1998 A reduced resolution SPOT image covering about 60km by 60km over a site near Collier Bay, Western Australia. Smoke plumes can be seen rising from buring vegetation.
	Zoom-in view of the above image (about 20km by 20km). Black patches are the burnt scar resulting form the bush fire. A few active fires (fire still burning) are also visible (as indicated).

Fires and Smoke Haze near the city of Broome, Western Australia The location map shows another SPOT fire scene about 100km south of the above scene, near the city of Broome. The yellow box indicate the position of the image.

	28 August 1998 A reduced resolution SPOT image covering about 60km by 60km over the Western Australia. Both this scene and the above scene were on the same SPOT pass.
