Typhoon Durian struck central Philippines on 30 Nov, causing widespread flooding and triggered landslides in many provinces. In Albay province, mudslide had buried villages near the foot of Mount Mayon volcano. Below are two satellite images of the region, the top being the pre-disaster image and the bottom is the post disaster image.
